DATING TIPS FOR WOMEN

• The first date should always be in a public place - restaurant, museum, coffee house would be ideal. Meet your date there.

• Have a buddy sysem for dating. Tell your friend where you're going and with whom, and be sure to provide full names and numbers.

• Never seem too available or desperate. Don't cancel your plans with friends or activities you love for a date. If a man is interested, he will fit himself into your schedule.

• If you are meeting your date somewhere, never arrive early. It's okay to be fashionably late but no more than 10 minutes. If your date is more than 15 minutes late and hasn't called you, leave promptly.

• Show appreciation when your date pays for you or gives you gifts. A heartfelt "thank you" goes a long way. It's also nice to add a flirtatious kiss if you like him.

• Don't have sex on the first date if you think the person has serious potential. It is more inviting to let the sexual tension build, and that gives you more time to get to know who you're dealing with. Also, many of my male clients have told me that they lose respect for women who sleep with them on the first date.

• Don't invite a man into your home until your feel completely comfortable with him. Don't ever let a man pressure you about being invited in.

• Have an air of mystery. Reveal things about yourself slowly. Remember, you're not on Dr. Phil.

• Wear clothes that make you feel beautiful and sexy, and don't say anything negative about your appearance. Go shopping if you're not happy with your wardrobe, and take a friend with you.

• Never talk about how fabulous any of your ex-lovers were in bed. If you want your man to improve his lovemaking skills, learn how to talk to him about that.

• If a man doesn't make himself available to see you on weekends regularly, he's not totally available. Keep dating other men.

• Have an abundance mentality when it comes to dating. Each man you meet is not the last man on earth!

• Pay attention to a man's actions, not his words. If a man doesn't keep his word, move on. Excuses are a sign that he is not taking responsibility for his life.
